Paramount Travel
is bonded with ABTA ( Association of British Travel Agents)
under ABTA No. 47168. Book with Confidence. We are a member
of ABTA which means you have the benefit of ABTA's assistance
and Code of Conduct. All the package holidays and Flight-Plus
hol;idays we sell are covered by a scheme protecting your
money if the supplier fails. Other services such as hotels
or flights on their own may not be protected and you should
ask us what protection is available.
Health : before any booking can be accepted
by Paramount Travel or it's suppliers, you will be required
to answer a simple questionnaire with regards to your health
and all passenger(s) travelling with you, primarily informing
you -" that no-one should book a holiday or travel arrangements,
without prior consent from their doctor, if anyone is under
medical care or treatment (or) on a waiting list for medical
treatment ".
Travel Insurance : it is
important that all passengers be covered by a valid travel
insurance certificate/policy, whilst it is not essential to
purchase this from Paramount Travel, we ask you provide us
with the name of the insurer, policy number, and emergency
telephone number.
Booking Conditions
: You will also be required to read and sign
the Booking Conditions, our normal procedure and practice
is to [fax] or post onto you before making any booking [definite].
Special Needs/Requests
: you are advised to bring it to our immediate
attention, any special requests, especially any matter
that you deem to be a [condition] of your booking before confirming,
as only items stated on your Booking Confirmation are guaranteed,
all others we shall try our best to fulfill, but unfortunately
can not be guaranteed.
Payments : AMEX and Credit Cards incur a
2.5% charge - Debit Cards incur no charges.
DATA PROTECTION
In order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel
arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements we need
to use the information you provide such as name address, any
special needs / dietary requirements etc.
We take full responsibility
for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to
protect your information. We must pass the information on
to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements such
as tour operator, airlines, hotels, transport companies etc.
The information may also be provided to security of credit
checking companies, public authorities such as customs / immigration
if required by them, or as required by law.
Additionally, where you holiday
is outside the European Economic Area (EEA), controls on data
protection in your destination may not be as strong as the
legal requirements in this country. We will not however, pass
on information onto any person not responsible for part of
your travel arrangements. This applies to any sensitive information
that you give to us such as details of disabilities, or dietary
requirements. (If we cannot pass this information to the relevant
suppliers, whether in the EEA or not, we cannot provide your
booking. In making any booking, you consent to this information
being passed on to the relevant persons.)
Usually your tour operator
or other principal will pass this information onto their suppliers
once we have provided it to them. The tour operator or other
principal's use of your information is subject to their policy,
both in respect of your booking and any future marketing,
and it is their responsibility. Please ask either us or them
for a copy of this if you would like to see it.
You are entitled to a copy of your information held by us.
If you would like to see this please ask us. (We may make
a small charge for providing this to you.)
Marketing:
We will hold your information, where collected by us, and
may use it to inform you of offers in the future.
