Accommodation
All the rooms (Deluxe/Suite/Villa) at
the Heritage Awali Mauritius, have air conditioning as well
as ceiling fans, a bathroom with separate bath and shower,
and a hairdryer.
All rooms and suites also have an electronic
safe, minibar, television with satellite channels, dial-up
Internet access and telephone with direct international
access. They also all have tea and coffee making facilities,
as well as turndown and laundry service and 24-hour room
service.
Deluxe room
Spacious and comfortable, the rooms are all decorated
in a refined style inspired by chic ethnic themes which
conjure up an atmosphere that is both tropical and African.
Each of the rooms has a private terrace, adding to your
perfect comfort.
The Villa
The
Heritage Awali Mauritius proudly offers .... an absolute
haven of comfort and space, the Villa, it
has a living room (equipped with a CD and DVD player),
a dining room with separate kitchen, two large bedrooms
each with its own bathroom (both with a jacuzzi), a children’s
room with its own bathroom, a gazebo and a private swimming
pool. It also has a 24-hour butler service.
Suite
With the addition of a sitting-dining room (equipped with
a CD and DVD player), the suites are located on the edge
of the beach and each has a private terrace from which
you can admire the lagoon.

BALAFON
With its ethnic decor inspired by its name borrowed from
an African musical instrument, the
main restaurant, le Balafon, is without doubt the place
to
meet for breakfast. In the evening it is the setting for
a delicious culinary voyage through varied cuisine themes.

SPORTS CENTRE
For sports fans or those looking for an active holiday,
an outdoor area of more than 3,500 m2 is dedicated to
sporting activities. The new 750 m2 UMUZI fitness centre
which forms part of this, is comprised of two spaces,
cardio and weight training – with state of the art
gym equipment.
The centre also offers activities for adolescents of 12
to 17 years.
The use of the equipment room is free.

A unique concept of Kids’ Club. The Timomo miniclub
welcomes children aged

A babysitting service is available on request in the mornings

TEENS
The activities centre is a place for teenagers of 12 to

An 18-hole Championship Golf course (par 72)
Designer: Peter Matkovitch (South African golf course
designer) Nestled between mountains and a pristine lagoon,
the design of this spectacular 18-hole golf course and
the level of golf technique possible, offers golfers a
memorable experience, whatever the standard of their game.
Facilities :
A putting green, a chipping green, a driving range, a
9-hole pitch and putt (par 3), golf lessons, Club house
with Pro shop, restaurant and bar, PGA Golf Pro and Assistant
Pro and a privileged access to 2 other 18 holes golf courses.
THE FREDERICA NATURE RESERVE
The Heritage Awali Mauritius - invites guests to enjoy
privileged access to the Frederica Nature Reserve: discover
the richness of the natural heritage of Mauritius in this
vast reserve overlooking the ocean.
On offer: hiking, off road vehicles, quad bikes, trekking,
guided tours and educational visits (at a nominal fee).The
reserve is supported by the Mauritius Wild Life Foundation.
CONFERENCE CENTRE
Roofed with thatch and decorated in an African style,
the meeting and conference facility at the Heritage Awali
Golf & Spa Resort has an area of 100 m² and can
accommodate up to 80 people in a theatre configuration.

and air-conditioned, it is equipped with everything necessary
